What Breweries will we visit?
Hop On! Montana Brew Bus visits breweries in the Flathead. Please see the details of your particular tour for the list of breweries we will visit on that particular day.
Where’s the pick-up location?
Pick up and drop off location is at Whitefish Super One Parking Lot.
Do I get to choose which breweries my group can go to?
If you “buy the bus” or book a private tour, you are welcome to help choose which breweries we visit. However, due to geography and time limitations, some breweries may not be possible to group together into one tour.
How long will the tour last?
Growler Tours last approximately 4 hours. The Ale Trail lasts approximately 6 hours.
Will there be food on the bus?
We will have water and some light snacks on the bus. You are welcome to bring a bagged lunch. Several of our brewery partners have fabulous food options available for purchase as well as food trucks that frequent some locations.
Can I drink on the bus?
No you cannot. Lucky for you, we'll be taking you to the best breweries the Flathead has to offer!
Do I have to be 21 to take the tour?
Yes, we check IDs before boarding the bus! Exceptions can be made for private tours but no one under 21 is permitted to drink alcoholic beverages
When should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive 30 mins prior to the start of each tour.
What does my ticket price include?
Ticket price includes safe transport to 3 or more breweries, exclusive deals only available to Brew Bus riders, snacks, fun Souvenir Glass and a memorable experience! Each stop includes a pint, or sample tastings depending on the Brewery.
How many people can the bus fit?
We have a 15 passenger vehicle, which includes the driver. We can fit 14 total guests per tour.
What if I'm running late?
The Brew Bus runs on a specific schedule to insure we make it to all destinations. If you are going to be late, we recommend you join us on the 2nd stop of the tour!
Does the Montana Brew Bus do private parties and tours?
Bring on the bachelor & bachelorettes, family reunions, corporate events & work after parties!
Feel free to email us with your ideas & we'll be happy to make all your dreams come true. Private tours prices and dates will vary depending on the availability of the bus.
Is the Brew Bus handicap accessible?
Yes, we do have the capabilities for a wheelchair lift on our bus.
Do I tip my Tour Guide?
Tipping your tour guide and or driver is always appreciated! At each stop, If you purchase additional samples or food it would be proper to pay additional gratuity to the brewery staff for those items. We want Montana Brew Bus to be a fantastic experience for EVERYONE involved.
If you have booked a private tour with us, a 20% gratuity will be included which will be given to our driver and guide.
On our public tours, we do not require you to tip our tour staff. But they certainly appreciate it if you find that you enjoyed your time with us! Suggestion is 15% gratuity
For all tours you may pre-pay gratuity at the time of booking by credit card or by cash at the end of your tour.
Is there a dress code?
We do not have any sort of strict dress code on the Brew Bus but we do require shirts, pants, and shoes! We do ask that you have sensible shoes on, as we will be walking around functioning breweries.
If I purchase growlers or beer at the breweries is there a place to keep it cold?
Yes, we will have coolers on the bus to keep your beverages cold!
Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?
Advance purchases are highly recommended, as tours often sell out. If you have not purchased your ticket in advance, we may not be able to accommodate walk-ups. You can email us through the contact form on our website if you want to check on availability prior to walking up.
I have a group that would like to book the tour privately what do I do?

Will the Brew bus cancel a tour?
If the weather is unsafe for travel then we reserve the right to cancel a tour. We may cancel if snow makes driving dangerous, email us through our website if you are concerned. We will make every attempt to contact guests if an event is cancelled. If this happens, we will give you credit towards a future tour or refund your ticket.
If I make a reservation with you, can I get a refund if I am unable to attend or arrive late and the event has begun?
We have a strict no refund policy. Many of our tours are capacity controlled and sell out, so we are unable to give refunds for cancellations or for late-arriving guests. If you know you will not be able to make your event and it is more than 72 hours in advance, email us through our website and we will do our best to accommodate you on a future date. We will charge you a 10% booking fee.
What we expect from you while riding the Brew Bus:
We want every passenger to have epically, memorable & safe trip!
- Feel free to post pictures to your social media aka make all your friends jealous.
- We reserve the right to remove any passenger that is disruptive, holding up the tour in anyway or overly intoxicated.
- If any passenger gets sick on the Brew Bus, MBB reserves the right to charge you a cleaning fee for the damages.
If you feel that after the tour concludes that you are unable to operate your vehicle we will happily call you an uber/lyft or provide you with safe transport for an additional fee.
